im getting lazy to blog again, hahaz, but i try to update as often as possible...
now doing daily relief, damn song, quite slack and no stress at all. dun have to think about wat to do with the kids or anything... and im glad that im quite close to the afternoon session teachers, there was once i was called there at only like 12 pm when i need to be there by 12.30, and the teacher never said wat to do, so i called the teacher (have all their numbers) to find out wat to do. imagine if i dun have their numbers, would be quite at a loss of what to do.
today went to sun tan with dd! i think i did get a tan, came back and realise that im red... hahaz... sentosa is a nice place to slack lor... too bad we didnt stay for too long... girls! anybody wana go tanning call me!!!
yesh this reminds me of the most pathetic class outing i have ever had... aye i shall not go into the details, just pure pathetic. i hate it when pple say that they are coming, and then on that day itself, they say that they cant make it. those who really had something cropping up suddenly i dun blame them lah, but itz those who never intended to go in the first place and just did not want to disappoint the organiser, then said yes, then on the day itself pang seh... well at least im glad im not the organiser, but at least if the pple said that they could not make it, we might as well just cancel the whole outing, itz not even considered an outing... im glad grace is there...
also glad that khoon wee, lor and wx did try to drop by for a while... aye... our class is hopeless
oh yes, regarding the parents of the new generation. there was this incident which happened in the primary school im teaching in. this teacher, who is quite nice to me, she suddenly called me and asked me if i heard anything from the school which i obviously didnt... cuz she didnt come to teach today. i thought she was sick, but she was actually told by the school not to come for the moment... there was actually this naughty boy in her class, who she really cant stand until one day, she pulled his ear. yes pulled his ear. just lytt. then the father complained to the school, say that he will complain to the ministry... the thing is the mother of the child told the teacher that itz okay to hit her child if necessary... i guess the father and mother have no communications at all... niwae i only heard the teacher's side of the story. dunnoe how true it is... but if it is true right, the parents are too much lor.. somemore there was another kid in the class whose uncle is working in the ministry. then i think the child went to tell the uncle wat happened, then the uncle sent an email to the school to ask wat happened i think... well i agree that itz abit too much... but after some reflections, i think that disciplining a child dun necessarily require hitting or pulling the child's ear right... if u have good classroom management, a strong and powerful voice and a straight face, thatz enough to get the whole class to be scared of you... i guess it requires experience..

one more week to the end of my permanent relief... although i always complain about the job, i think that i will miss the kids lor... and the staff... they are really really nice pple! really learnt alot about teaching from them... hahaz... anyway made bookmarks for all 40 of my dear children... so funny, cuz teachers tend to call the students they teach in class their kids, their children... dunoe whether i should start looking for another job or just wait for daily relief everyday... but i ought to take a break! but break means no money... hahaz... dunoe wat to do...
do you know that it is very hard to get kids to write in paragraphs??? even though it seems like so easy to us... i just keep getting one whole chunk of compositions written just in 1 paragraph... aye.. just thought about paragraphing when i started this paragraph...
niwaez i'm gonna go for electric guitar lessons!!! how cool right! my parents chao bought this $1260 electric guitar, cuz my younger bro wanted one u see... i didnt expect my dad to be sooo generous lah! goodness... but u see, my bro sux at playing the guitar, cuz he just learn from frens and everything... so we decided to get him to take lessons... then i accompany him lor! hahaha... anyway my parents paying =p imagine, me playing the electric guitar jamming away!!! muahahaha... i just read the book (electric guitar book 1) from yamaha... it looks chim man... looking forward to my lessons... hahaz
